Always ready for a close-up, Shore Club furnishes back-of-the-house rooms for wardrobe, makeup, casting, and production along with front-of-the-house staging for corporate events. Set on the sands of Miami Beach, Florida, the resort scales the heights of contemporary glamour in South Beach. The landmark lobby makes an unforgettable first impression with its diaphanous drapes and eclectic furnishings thoughtfully designed by David Chipperfield. The guest rooms feature furnishings by B&B Italia and baths with glass walls dividing vanity from tub and shower. A three-story penthouse, beach house, and seven two-story bungalows entertain with generous living rooms, terraces, private pools-and bathrooms with Jacuzzi and steam shower. Facing the beach, a new 2,900-square-foot, state-of-the-art meeting facility recently raised the square footage for gatherings to 13,300. Boardrooms, breakout rooms, terraces, and a three-acre labyrinth of Moroccan-style gardens set the stage for some of the most fashionable gatherings in town. While meeting planners appreciate the support of a dedicated conference service manager, poolside data ports, and advanced audiovisual capability, delegates applaud the leading- edge architecture and interior design, elevated infinity-edge pools, rooftop spa, and such world-class bars and restaurants as Skybar, Nobu and Ago.

ACQUALINA RESORT & SPA
Acqualina Resort & Spa anchors a dramatic new 51-story residential tower on the beach in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. Situated between Fort Lauderdale and Miami on four-and-a-half beachfront acres, Acqualina's Mediterranean-inspired design perfectly complements the gracious service. Executive groups find an ideal spot for meetings of up to 40 delegates-one step from the sand and minutes from golf, tennis, boating, and the myriad other sun-splashed attractions of greater Miami. The main meeting space measures 2,059 square feet or divides into three separate rooms, each with data ports and Wi-Fi, individual sound system, temperature control, and access to a shared oceanfront terrace. The Costa Grill serves casual favorites, while the casually elegant Il Mulino New York features gourmet cuisine from the Abruzzi region of Italy. Last, but far from least: "ESPA at Acqualina," a two-story, 20,000-square-foot pleasure palace known for its revolutionary skin care advances and the best of ancient and modern rejuvenation therapies under the sun.
THE SETAI
Set in a prized location on Miami's South Beach, the ultraluxe hotel pampers guests with a host of plush amenities: Dux beds finished in Irish linens, flat-screen LCD and plasma TVs, Bose surround-sound DVD-CD systems and Lavazza espresso machines in all 131 suites measuring 600 square feet and up.
Recreation at the resort center on the pristine stretch of white sand that fronts the hotel. Sunbathers and people watchers while away the hours on comfortable beach daybeds and water pods or dip into any of three swimming pools close by. More active guests visit the fitness center, charter a yacht, hire a personal trainer or try their hand at golf, tennis, and deep-sea diving nearby. A massage or Balinese-inspired treatment at the spa (or in suite) rejuvenates even the weariest of travelers.
South Beach's year-round climate creates a demand for outdoor meetings. The Setai answers that call with courtyard, poolside and terrace locations ideal for cocktail receptions or sit-down dinners. Four indoor venues round out the offerings. Some visitors find their Zen moment at day's end with a visit to The Restaurant, where they dine on sophisticated international fare indoors or alfresco, surrounded by quiet ponds and garden pergolas.
